Michael L. Durig, Guitarist/Banjo/Vocalist

Michael has been playing 30 years and his experience includes three years as a public school music teacher, six years working for Walt Disney World as a guitarist/banjo/vocalist and eight and half years as a military musician serving in the United States Navy.

Michael has worked with such notable musicians as Cab Calloway, Bob Hope, Betty White, Dinah Shore, Charlie Pride, Glen Campbell, Chuck Mangione, Les Brown's Band of Renown, The Mantovani Orchestra, and the Virginia Opera. He currently teaches jazz guitar/jazz studies at the Governor's School for the Arts and performs both as a soloist and a member of the Russell Scarborough Quartet where he plays regularly at Blues Alley in Norfolk, Virginia.
