Miss Laura Varcho, her peers will tell you, has a great ear for melody, timing and rhythm. They will also tell you her phraseology is particularly inspired. Her many fans echo those praises. Miss Varcho has been performing in Northeast Ohio for several years, honing her craft and deepening her communion with the songs she sings. These qualities have garnered her a faithful and growing following. With this critical praise and admiration, she has emerged as the female jazz voice in the area.

Miss Varcho's audiences are moved by her ability to convey the deepest, most personal emotions as she weaves her way through her riveting live sets. Her repertoire consists of carefully selected jazz, blues and pop tunes which she delivers with her trademark wide ranging emotions. In larger venues, Miss Varcho puts on a high energy show, captivating her audience with her charismatic stage presence.

Miss Varcho is a featured artist at Night Town and other top jazz clubs in Northeast Ohio. She was a featured vocalist in both the 2001 and 2002 Tri-C Jazz Fest Women in Jazz concerts in Cleveland, Ohio. Her television appearances include the FOX 8 Morning Show and the Live with David Lynch show, and she has made various radio interview appearances. She was a featured vocalist at the Northeast Ohio Jazz Society's 2002 annual fundraiser, Winterfest, and performed for a sold out house at her CD release party at Night Town. Miss Varcho and her band are opening for national jazz acts, including saxophonist Kim Waters and singer/songwriter Kenny Rankin. Miss Varcho's performance at the Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest this past July brought the house down and was widely regarded as the "hit" of the festival.
